After being together for over ten years, Sophia and Tom celebrated their love in the captivating mountains of Sedona. With the red rocks as their venue – these two lovebirds radiated against the scenic backdrop of a sunset skyline during their Sedona elopement.
Our favorite moment was when we hiked up to Cathedral Rock for sunset photos following their ceremony. As we were waiting in line for a chance to take pictures, everyone who walked by realized that they had just gotten married and were congratulating them and telling them how great they looked. When it was our turn to walk out to the ledge for photos, everyone in line started cheering for them. It was such a surreal, joyful moment!
A Cinematic Black & White Affair
Because COVID postponed their wedding, Sophia wanted to save her wedding dress and wear it in their vow renewal ceremony and reception in 2022. So for this Sedona elopement, she found another gorgeous dress to wear – a long, open-backed gown that she absolutely rocked.
Her beautiful white train paired perfectly with Tom’s sharp, all-black attire. Their style was classic and a simple black and white combo that really popped against the red rocks landscape. Sophia even decided to make her own bouquet, with a black ribbon to compliment Tom.
An Unforgettable Sedona Elopement
Because of COVID, Sophia & Tom needed to reschedule quickly in order to get married on New Year’s Eve. To make the process as easy as possible for them, we researched where they needed to get their marriage license from – and we hiked over 10 miles the day before the wedding to scout the perfect location for their Sedona elopement.
Ross even got ordained and officiated their wedding, and he and I wrote the ceremony together.
